BRO XIII was another successful event in this long line of friendly competition! As usual, everyone had a good time, win or lose. Much thanks to all of the committee members for the hard work needed to plan and execute such an event. Here are the final results of the competition: 1st Place Aspinall / Buckley This team was the heavy favorites going in. Vegas would no longer take bets on them after the line was announced. 2nd Place Cathers / Thompson won a tie- breaker to squeak into second. 3rd Place Welsh / DiIanni lost the tie breaker , but came in a respectful 3rd. 4th Place Kozar / Pantano They were tied for first after the first round , but then slid back to 4th 5th Place Another tie with a playoff. Team Frantz / Houghton won the playoff over Varvaris / Richards for the final winning spot.
The raffles provided some interesting results. Two people picked their own number from the box. What are the chances of that? And then one of these two picked the other’’s number for a third win! An investigation is underway. Thanks to Mike for securing a lot of freebies and handling the raffles as well as the “ time horn “.
Thanks to all for participating again this year and cooperating with all of the “directions”. It surely made the day run smoothly.
